Thanks to the growing Israeli economy, low unemployment, and virtually no inflation, the Israeli Shekel has become one of the strongest currencies in the world. The Shekel could continue to strengthen with the development of natural gas reserves off Israel’s coast and foreign investments continuing to pour into Israeli technology companies.
Israel is such a young, vibrant country with only 9 million citizens, only about the size of New Jersey and is surrounded by enemies. And yet somehow Israel’s currency remains stronger than the Euro, the British Pound, the Japanese Yen, and the Swiss Franc. God chooses the small things of the world to reveal His glory and power… and this is just another testimony to God’s faithfulness.
