Is he out, or is he in? Prime Minister Netanyahu is said to possibly consider firing Defense Minister Yoav Gallant. Rumors abound and the Prime Minister himself “denies reports he’s on the verge of replacing Gallant with Gideon Sa’ar.”

Founding editor of The Times of Israel David Horovitz writes, “Netanyahu, don’t fire Gallant: The first time was tragedy [March 2023], the second could be worse. Booting the defense minister amid Israel’s gravest crisis, with conflict on multiple fronts, is reckless and dangerous. It would delight Israel’s enemies, and deepen division at home.”

While Israel fights a multi-front war, the Security Cabinet “begins meeting amid tensions with Hezbollah, reports of Gallant’s looming ouster.”

Rumors, challenges, threats, and still the IDF presses forward in their aim of defeating and destroying Hamas. The IDF has reduced Hamas terrorist numbers significantly, they are slowly dismantling the tunnel network, have discovered hostages in the tunnels and returned them, a few alive, some dead to Israel. The IDF continues its pursuit of freeing the hostages and capturing the new Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar. As the war continues toward its one year anniversary, continue to pray for Israel as they seek to win the peace against Hamas.
