Our Commitment
The Friends of Israel is an independent, evangelical faith mission that is totally dependent on the prayers and support of Bible believing, churches and individuals. Our mission is clearly defined. The task is to make Christ known to all people, in obedience to his commission to the church. We are a worldwide evangelical ministry proclaiming biblical truth about Israel and the Messiah, while bringing physical and spiritual comfort to the Jewish people. (Our full doctrinal statement is available here.)
Today the ministry stands on the threshold of unparalleled opportunity. Our greatest needs are time, qualified workers, and friends who will enable us with their gifts and strengthen us with their prayers. The task at times seems overwhelming. But still, the Gospel remains “the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek [Gentile]” (Romans 1:16). We therefore are compelled to proclaim His truth with every fiber of our being and through every resource available to us.
Financial Principles
We conduct our ministry on sound principles of Christian stewardship. We maintain membership in the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability the (ECFA). Audited financial statements are published annually in Israel My Glory magazine and are available below. In all areas, we strive for excellence and accountability as stewards of the Lord. Our active board of trustees is composed of outstanding Christian leaders. All Friends of Israel’s workers strongly endorse our cultural statement and principles of ministry.
