Hardware Requirements

There’s no particular hardware requirement on the computer(s) you will be using to take our courses online. Any computer with reasonable performance running a modern operating system, browser, Word Processor, and media player is okay. You can use either a PC or Mac.

Some recommendations are listed below.

Computer Speakers: Some of our classes may use audio and/or video. For these classes, you will need to have either integrated sound or a sound card with your computer. Computer speakers are also required.

Network Adapter and Internet Connection: You are required to have an Internet connection. Thus, you are required to have a network card in your computer and subscribe to an Internet connection service through an Internet Service Provider. Or, you should have access to a public computer, a friend's computer, or a computer at work (with your employer’s permission) that has connection to the Internet.

It is recommended that you have a high speed Internet connection but not required.

Printer: If you plan to print out the class notes, you should have access to a printer.
